Valentine Cupcakes

Redo from last year. They were just so cute I made them again. 

Here are my decorations. You can get the cutest stuff on etsy. My favorite place to buy these things. 

I went with chocolate.

Valentine Treats

4th grade class treats. 

Rolo melted between ritz crackers. On a stick and dipped. 

For the kids. 

Great treat.

Dippin' Daddy

Bill Wades favorite chocolate and peanut butter rice Krispy treats. On a stick! Whoa!!

Swedish Kringla

From my friend Bonnie Covrig 

Easy recipe and such nice dough to work with. 

Recipe

Mix first four ingredients together until smooth. 

1 cup sugar

1 cup sour cream

1 cup milk

1 tbsp. vanilla

Sift together the following and add to above. 

4 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp soda

1/2 tsp. salt

Blend all together. 

Knead with flour. Pinch off and roll in a log. Twist in figure 8. Bake for 12 minutes at 425 degrees.

I love this dough. 

Roll out and......

Twist. Place on parchment. 

I glazed with almond flavor glaze. 

Recipe makes a lot!! They are simply delicious. 

Working with Fondant

Not as hard as I thought. I bought this already made. ( next I'll make my own )

But it's like playing with play dough.
